VICE - The Last Days of Toys 'R' Us

This project was a collaboration between myself and friend / filmmaker Andy Sarjahani. In 2018, we set out to document the fall of big box stores beginning with Toys ‘R’ Us. That same year the company filed for bankruptcy and began closing stores across the country, adding Toys ‘R’ Us to a growing list of now extinct brick-and-mortar retail stores that were once fixtures of 1980s and 90s America.
